IPRPA Annual General Meeting 2012

The IPRPA Annual General Meeting 2012, chaired by Mr. Y K Tam, Assistant Commissioner (Intelligence and Investigation), was held at the Customs Headquarters Building on 10 December 2012. A total of 45 representatives from 39 IPRPA member organizations attended the Meeting.

In the Meeting, Mr. Y K Tam reviewed the Customs enforcement achievements in 2012 and recapitulated IPRPA activities held last year, such as various seminars co-organized between Hong Kong Customs and IPR industry for member organizations, study visit to and from Guangdong, “Promote Creativity, Respect Intellectual Property Right” Film Show, “IPR Protection Umbrella Design Competition” and “MyGame Design Competition”, etc. The Meeting also discussed the future development of IPRPA and the upcoming seminars / training sessions in 2013.

Following the Meeting was a cocktail reception at the Customs & Excise Service Senior Officers’ Mess.
